Communicating In-Store Marketing Using Computer Simulation

This promotional End-Cap display was created in-store using a hand held camera to capture the context of the Best Buy store as well as all the products on the proposed display. These images were then used in Fifth Dimension’s Virtual Shelf software to render this computer simulated merchandise display. The entire exercise took just thirty minutes to complete, showing that it’s possible to rapidly capture any in-store situation, re-plan the merchandise display with new product, rapidly render the scene on a laptop and quickly give the in-store associates a visual instruction of how to implement the changes.
